Things we are LOVING:

-HANDS, HANDS, more HANDS...
-hands in mouth but also mastering the movement of bringing hands together on an object and moving said object to mouth for further discovery...watching coordination come together is amazing! The brain and body are in constant communication forming the pathways he will use for the rest of his life! Wow!
-FEET! They've made it to his mouth, but not for too long!
-SMILES, and lots of them!
-Giggles, and yesterday a solid 2 or 3 minutes of belly laughs; Dad was being super silly after dinner and he cracked up! Getting to communicate with him like this brings so much joy to my heart. He especially loves interaction with Dad. He thinks he is endlessly entertaining whereas I run out of material by 10 a.m. and he is bored of me. Guess I've gotta brush up my routine~
-anything red. studies red objects for long periods of time, even longer if it lights up
-BANANA. I noticed he kinda liked cereal but wasn't to pumped about it so I threw in some freshly mushed up nanners and it did the trick! HE LOVES IT and maybe we'll gain a little extra weight before we see the doctor next time!
-tickle tickle little pickle! FAVORITE spots: nape of neck moving onto back, under arms, bum, bottoms of feet. all the sillier when I place toes in MY mouth!!
-being outside. nothing soothes like being in the park! With the bad weather he's also enjoyed several shopping expeditions as well as spending some time in the "play area/nursery" at the Buckhead YMCA. He thrives around other children and new friends of any age! this has started momma's wheels about the drop in nursery at our church. I KNOW he would love it
-curling up on my shoulder like a little baby monkey when he's hungry-it's a game between us, he thinks its silly and always makes me laugh! He IS my little monkey!
-nursing...he went through a phase where he wasn't interested, but he's back on board so to speak and it's a wonderful part of our day! Drs, books, etc all say to aim for 1 year and I think we'll make it! It's amazing what our bodies can do. Physically it sustains him the best. Emotionally we have created a bond that involves trust, patience, gentleness, peace, gratitude, guidance, satisfaction just to name a few! Supposedly he uses this intimacy to judge and build on all future relationships.

NOT LOVING:
-putting on clothes, specifically armholes.
-car rides...oh dear don't get me started...
-being woken up mid nap; he loves his sleep!
-nasal aspirator
-fingernail clipping

JURY IS OUT ON:
-piano time
-peek-a-boo
-tummy time
-harvey
-softie "lovie" blanket/stuffed animals before and after sleeping. He likes how soft they are but is bored by them
-teethers, he wants to like them but sometimes they DON"T feel so good on his gums
-sleeping sans swaddle blankets. We got rid of them for awhile. Sleep went out the window so now they're back!

That's all that comes to mind right away! Stay tuned...
